Jon Scurr is a highly experienced Projects Director with over 40 years of hands-on experience delivering complex new build, refurbishment and civil engineering projects across the residential and commercial sectors. With a background rooted in trade and site-based delivery, Jon brings deep practical knowledge combined with strong leadership and operational control.

A qualified joiner and formwork specialist, Jon began his career in civil engineering, working on major infrastructure projects including motorway bridge construction across Lancashire and the THORP nuclear facility at Sellafield — one of Europe’s largest construction schemes at the time. This early experience laid the foundation for a career built on technical excellence, safety leadership and delivery discipline.

Throughout his career, Jon has progressed into senior management roles, taking responsibility for multi-million-pound developments delivered on time, on budget and in full compliance with health, safety and regulatory standards. He has extensive experience acting as principal contractor, managing multidisciplinary teams, coordinating design and technical stakeholders, and maintaining clear communication with clients, consultants and delivery partners.

Jon has led the delivery of large-scale residential developments for private developers and local authorities, overseeing full build programmes from groundworks and superstructures through to internal finishes and handover. His civil engineering expertise also extends to highways and infrastructure works, including Section 106 schemes, major road and sewer packages, and specialist facilities.

Notably, Jon has worked extensively on Manchester Airport developments, delivering airside infrastructure, substations, taxiways, de-icing facilities and large-scale commercial refurbishments, both directly for Manchester Airports Group and as principal contractor.

Highly regarded across the North West construction industry, Jon is known for his strong commercial awareness, meticulous planning, and commitment to quality and safety. With over 25 years in senior management, he has a proven track record of building high-performing site teams, managing risk proactively, and delivering schemes that meet both client expectations and long-term operational needs.

Jon holds a CSCS Black Site Manager Card, SMSTS certification, First Aid at Work qualification, and City & Guilds qualifications in Carpentry, Joinery and Advanced Formwork. His career reflects a consistent focus on safe delivery, technical excellence and producing high-quality outcomes across every project he leads.
